- Day 1 : Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport

- Arusha Touch down at Kilimanjaro International Airport where you will be welcomed by a representative ready to accompany you to the hotel in central Arusha, a mere 1.5 hours’ drive away. Your base for the next night, for the start of your safari. Lying on the gently rolling foothills that cascade down from the ever-present Mount Meru is the bustling and vibrant town of Arusha. It is here on the outskirts of this town, hidden amongst one of Tanzania’s largest coffee plantations, that’s where you will find the Lodge, a perfect haven for relaxation either before any East African safari. The homely feel of the Lodge is by no means accidental as the origins of the homestead continue to emit glimpses of times-gone-by, also a certified property of responsible tourism.
- Ngorongoro Crater Wake up to a hearty breakfast at Lodge before your transfer to the Ngorongoro Crater in a 4x4 safari vehicle, as you make you way to the crater you will enjoy a prearranged game drive through Lake Manayara National Park, with a packed lunch, this is a great way to kick start your safari. You will be staying, for the next 2 nights, at The Manor situated at Ngorongoro, in the north west of Tanzania. Crossing the Rift Valley and climbing the steps onto the green and rolling hills south of the Ngorongoro Crater, there lies a truly undeniable surprise and one that will be a home-away-from-home.
- Serengeti National Park This morning you will wake up and enjoy your final breakfast at The Manor before being transferred to the Serengeti National Park. As you make your way through the Serengeti National Park, to your next location, enjoying yet another prearranged scenic game drive, with a packed lunch. The next stop on your safari is Serengeti booked tented camp, here you will spend 3 nights enjoying morning and afternoon game drives though the Serengeti National Park. Located in South Central Serengeti - Tanzania - (within the Moru Kopjes area), Serengeti booked tented camp will be located at central serengeti which is also situated to offer superlative access to the annual migration and the ‘Big 5’ with sweeping views overlooking Moru Kopjes, Lake Magadi and the endless plains., enjoy day long game drives, with bush picnics, sundowners, camp-fire dining and much more.
- Zanzibar Wake up to a filling breakfast at Serengeti Pioneer Camp, before being transferred to the airstrip for you charter flight to Zanzibar. Touch down in Zanzibar Airport where you will be welcomed by a representative ready to accompany you to Gold Zanzibar, situated in Kendwa, one of the most beautiful and calm spots of Zanzibar, on the Northwest coast of Zanzibar. The resort offers boating, diving, water sport activities, kayaking, scuba diving and snorkelling, sailing, water skiing and windsurfing. We suggest taking a fully day tour to Stone Town so you can learn about the rich cultural heritage.
- Today marks the end of your family trip. After a final breakfast at Gold Zanzibar, your driver will meet you to transfer you to the airport for your onward journey home.
